What happens when you ask us for a free website audit
You send two things: your email and your website. You get back a report with everything we find, most important first, in plain words, with a first step for each. No call, no sales sequence. Here is the whole process, and why we do it for free.
Asking an agency for an “audit” often means a sales call before you see anything, then a long report that mostly sells the next step. We wanted the opposite: something you can ask for in a minute, that gives you something useful whether or not you ever work with us.
This is how our free website audit works, step by step.
1. You send two things
Your email and your website. That’s it. In the “Talk to an engineer” form, choose “A free audit of my website”, or use any “Get a free audit” button on this site. If there is something you already suspect, a drop in traffic, a page that stopped selling, you can add a line about it. You don’t have to.
2. We look at your site from the outside
We look at your website the way a customer or a search engine sees it: whether Google can find and list your pages, how you appear in search and in AI answers, whether the path to buy works on a phone, how fast the main pages load, whether your analytics is recording, and whether anything blocks real visitors. Here is the full list, and what each check means.
We only use what any visitor can see. We don’t ask for passwords, we don’t run security scans, and nothing on your site changes.
3. You get everything we find, most important first
Not a 40-page report of generic advice. One email with every finding about your own site, ranked by how much it can cost you in visits, leads or sales, so you know where to start. Each one says:
- What it is, in plain words.
- Why it can cost you, without made-up numbers. From outside we can see that something is wrong, not how much it costs.
- How to check it yourself, in a minute: a link, a search or a screenshot.
- The first step to fix it, so your team, agency or developer can act on it.
4. The next step is yours
There is no sales sequence and no call you have to book. Some findings are quick fixes your own team can make with what we send. If you want help, reply to the email. If you want to know what a problem is actually costing, we can look deeper with your own data, read-only: Search Console, analytics, server logs. That shows how much each problem costs and what fixing it is worth.
Why we do it for free
Because it is the most honest way to show how we work. Anyone can say they find problems. A finding about your own site, that you can check yourself in a minute, says more than any pitch. If the findings are useful, you’ll know whether you want us for the rest. If they aren’t, you’ve lost a minute.
It is also how real turnarounds start. Our affiliate site turnaround began with the same question: what is actually wrong, and how do we prove it?
Before you ask, have this ready
- The address of the site, or the page that matters most.
- If something changed recently, a redesign, a new platform, a drop in traffic or sales, roughly when.
- Who should receive the findings: you, or the person who will act on them.
