A working engine
Your site says what it does, keeps publishing, gives before it asks and catches every enquiry. From here, growth is about doing more of what works: check which pages and channels bring clients, and feed them.
Running, with gaps
The parts are there, but some leak. Each gap below is a place where interested visitors leave without becoming enquiries. Close them in order: most take days, not months.
A brochure, not an engine
Your site is mostly a brochure: it describes you, but it doesn’t bring people in, give them a reason to stay or catch them when they’re ready. Start with the first item below; each step makes the next one work better.

Where to start
- Does your home page say, in one line, who you help and what they get?
Write one sentence a buyer would recognise as their problem, and put it at the top of the home page. Everything else on the page should support it.

- Do you publish something new and useful on your site every week?
Pick one question your buyers ask every week and answer it in a short article. A steady rhythm matters more than length.
Read: A site that updates itself, and checks every page before it does
- Is every fact and figure on your site checked before it goes live?
Before publishing, check every number, name and quote against its source, and keep the source with the draft.
- Do you offer something free and useful that shows what you know?
Turn the first thing you do with every new client into a free tool: a short check, a template or a calculator that gives a real answer.

- After the free step, is there one clear paid next step?
Name the paid step that naturally follows your free tool, describe what the buyer gets, and link it from the free tool’s result.

- Does every enquiry arrive with the page and channel it came from?
Record the first source and the landing page with every form submission, and send them along with the enquiry.

- Is every enquiry recorded and answered within one working day?
Store every enquiry before any email is sent, and give one person the job of replying within a working day.

- Do you post on social media several times a week, and answer every comment?
Choose the one network where your buyers spend time, post there several times a week, and answer every comment and question.

- Do your social posts lead to a page on your site?
Link every post to the one page on your site that continues it: the article, the free tool or the service it is about.
- When your site needs a change, does it happen within a week?
Give the site a standing owner and a small monthly budget of time, so changes ship every week instead of waiting for a redesign.
No gaps on this list. Your site already works as a growth engine.
