From a free audit to ongoing work: four steps, and you can stop at any of them

We work on websites in four steps: a free audit from the outside, a deep audit of your own data, a fixed-price first month of fixes, and ongoing work. What you give and what you get at each one, and why each step has to earn the next.

Hiring someone to fix a website usually means deciding before you know much: a proposal, a price, and a promise. We built our work the other way round, as four steps where each one shows you something real before you decide on the next.

Step 1. The free audit

You give: your email and your website.

You get: a report with everything we can find from the outside, the way a customer or a search engine sees your site, most important first, each finding with a first step to fix it.

Stop here if the findings are things your own team can fix. Many are. See the free audit.

Step 2. The deep audit

You give: read-only access to your own data, such as Search Console and analytics. About ten minutes of your time.

You get: what each problem costs and where your growth is, in your own numbers. Every issue in one priority list, ranked by what it is worth, and two meetings to go through it. It has a fixed price, credited in full if you go on to step 3 within 30 days.

Stop here if you want the list and prefer to do the work with your team or with someone else. See the deep audit.

Step 3. The site fixes

You give: read access to your code, and someone on your side to apply the fixes.

You get: a first month at a fixed price: 80 hours of engineering on your priority list, from the top, as far as the time allows. Each fix arrives as code and exact settings for your team to apply. At the end, a report of every task, done or not, the list of pending items and a Growth opportunities report.

Stop here if the most valuable problems are fixed and what is left is small. See the site fixes.

Step 4. The ongoing engagement

You give: a monthly decision about what comes first.

You get: the same team, month after month: pending fixes, growth work, each change measured against your own numbers, and a written report. See the ongoing engagement.

Why it is built as steps

  • You never buy blind. Before you pay for anything, you have already seen our work on your own site.
  • Each step is complete. Every one ends with something you keep and can use without us.
  • The commitment grows with the evidence. Two fields, then ten minutes, then a month, then month by month.
  • Our access stays small. Nothing in the first three steps needs your passwords, your database or the right to change your site.

It also keeps us honest. A step that doesn’t deliver is the last one you take.

Where to start

  • If you don’t know what is wrong: the free audit.
  • If you know what is wrong but not what it costs: the free audit, then the deep audit.
  • If you already have an audit from someone else: send it with your free audit request, and tell us what was never fixed.
