Site fixes

80 hours on your priority list.
Fixes your team applies.

After the deep audit you know what is wrong and what each problem is worth. This is the first month of fixing it: 80 hours of forward deployed engineering at a fixed price. We take the issues in priority order and get as far as the time allows. You get every fix as code and exact settings for your team to apply, and a full report of what was done and what is pending.

Why it works this way

An audit nobody acts on
changes nothing.

Most audits end as a document. The findings are right, and six months later most are still open, because nobody had the hours or knew which to take first.

A fixed price to “fix everything” doesn’t work either: nobody knows how deep each problem goes until someone opens the code. So the price and the hours are fixed, and the list is in priority order. The most valuable work happens first.

We keep our access small on purpose. We read; your team applies. Nothing changes on your site that your own people didn’t put there.

This is for you if

  • You have a deep audit and want its most valuable fixes done, not discussed
  • Your team can apply changes, but lacks the time or the specialists to work them out
  • You want to see how we work before committing to anything longer
  • You need one fixed number to approve, not an open estimate

What you can count on

Fixed where it can be.
Honest where it can’t.

How the 80 hours go

  1. Access

You give us read access to your code and your data. We don’t ask for your database or your admin passwords.

  2. Reading

We study your code and your setup before proposing any change, so each fix fits how your site is really built.

  3. Fixes

We work down the priority list and hand over each fix as code and exact settings, ready for your team to apply.

  4. Wrap-up and reports

Every task, done and not done, the list of pending items, and a Growth opportunities report: what changed and what to do next.

  5. Handoff

We go through all of it with your team, so nothing depends on us to keep running.

Questions owners ask

What exactly will you fix?
As many of the issues in your audit as 80 hours allow, starting with the ones worth the most. We don’t promise a number of fixes, because nobody can know how deep each one goes before opening the code. We do promise the order, the hours and a full report.
Why don’t you apply the fixes yourselves?
Because the first month should carry no risk for you. With read access, nothing we do can break your site, and your team sees and approves every change. Each fix comes ready to apply, and we go through it with them.
What if we don’t have developers?
Tell us before we start: we plan the list around who will apply it. Many fixes are settings and content that need no developer, only exact steps.
What happens to what doesn’t fit?
It stays on the list, in order, with everything we learned about it. You can continue with us month by month (the ongoing engagement), or hand the list to your team.
Can we start without the deep audit?
The priority list comes from the audit. Without it we would be guessing what to fix first, with your money. The path starts with the free audit.
Who owns the code?
You do, once it is paid for. All IP rights in the code we deliver transfer to you when every agreed payment has been made; until then, EVDevs keeps them. There is no product of ours underneath it to license or lock you in.
What does it cost?
One fixed price for the 80 hours, stated in your deep audit report. The fee of the audit is credited in full if you start within 30 days.

80 hours, one priority list: how a fixed first month works

After an audit, the question is who does the work and what it costs. Our answer is one fixed price for 80 hours of engineering, spent on your issues in priority order. What happens in those hours, and what you hold at the end.

Why we don't promise to fix everything

A proposal to fix every finding for one price sounds safe. It rarely is. We fix the price and the hours, put every issue in priority order, and report every task, done or not. Why that is the more honest deal, and what protects you in it.

Turn the audit into fixes.
In priority order.

The first month starts from your deep audit. If you don’t have one yet, start with the free audit, or tell us about your site.
